Our Autumn and Winters blog focuses on one of POLISHEDS 2017 Sligo Hen Parties.
First our lovely bride to be Orla from Claregalway, Co Galway and is had her wedding in the radisson hotel limerick city who had her party party bash in Co Sligo. The fabulous Annette did an amazing job of organising Orlas hen party weekend in Sligo. All their friends and family hailed mostly from Ballygar Co Roscommon and Galway City and county. Annette had every detail covered. The Girls used Adrians Midnight Limos service to travel instyle from their home in Claregalway to Sligo for the start of their hen weekend. They booked the hen party through Fergal and Shane of Hen and Stag Sligo .The girls had 13 members to party with on the friday night and enjoyed a A full moon party theme, decorating themselves in UV Paint from Art and Hobby They first enjoyed afternoon tea in Eala Ban and later enjoyed delic cocktails in Retro Lane, Bourban Bar and danced their socks off in Garavogue Bar until the small hours. They did a very organised list of dares see below. The next day 4 others joined the party, a total of 17 girls came out in force.
They did a floral crown making activity during the day in Lola Montez Nightclub with Sophie and later enjoyed dinner in the Riverside Hotel later. They had a dress to impress theme” with girls wearing smart suits and the bride in white. The girls all wore their flower crowns which were freshly made from real flowers for photos before they headed out. Elaine was on hand to provide makeup and Fiona from Polished provided loose downstyle hair for the perfect setting of the brides floral crown. Annette made beautiful goodie bags complete with Bride Tribe stickers from Etsy and decorated the bedrooms with Balloons from Heatons and Mr Price. The enjoyed little paper props of big lips, moustaches etc to add to the photo memories.

Girls got Orla a fab memory photobook made from Aldi www.aldiphotos.ie with all of her memories from growing up, holidays and nights on the town shared together. They stayed 2 nights in the new modern riverside hotel complex where they had a few apartments. This hotel is so perfect for a hen night. It is situated a couple of minutes walk from the nightlife but yet it is in a lovely quiet area overlooking the garavogue river. So finally when the girls did get a chance to sleep they could snooze in peace! To be in true millenial style the created their own hashtag for all the photos of the hen night. #soontobesheerin, see all the got up to on instagram now!
